NORTH CAROLINA OLYMPIC SPORTS TOOLKIT
UNC's Olympic Sports Championship pedigree is well documented.
And they wanted a motion toolkit package that matched that pedigree while also remaining flexible so that it could work across multiple venues to level up their production for all these sports.
Multiple venues. Multiple outputs. Streamlined assets with automation and flexibility built in.
That's the power of toolkitting!
This package mixes architectural details including geometrical grids and blueprint drawings with gritty overlays unique to Chapel Hill's campus.
LOGO LOOP TOOLKIT
Starting with the argyle pattern that is synonomous with UNC, we built out the Logo Loop to allow for flexibility with the least amount of edits necessary.
The argyle pattern leads to the venue backdrop, with both the venue name and backdrop tied to the same dropdown.
Stylized by the architectual drawings and a gritty overlay to enhance their classy, sophisticated creative direction.

MATCHUP LOOP TOOLKIT

To reinforce the architectural, geometric grids, and gritty creative direction, we incorporated hand drawn elements into the Matchup Loop to higlight each team.
The venue falls to the background a little more as we highlight the clashing of team colors and logos, building on to the final matchup lockup featuring a venn diagram juxtaposing the teams contrasting colors before spinning off into the indvidual teams for the loop.
PLAYER ID TOOLKIT
Built for flexibility, the Player ID has a ton of editable options.
The player image, venue image, logos, number, text, and colors are all flexible.
As the players name changes, each element below flexes to maintain consistency and spacing rules.

SCORE TOOLKIT

The score toolkit has added flexibility to account for all the different sports needs.
We added a "chaos" slider to this toolkit to allow the internal team to adjust how hype each asset could get. This simplified slider adjusts multiple variables at once to provide varied options while maintaining a cohesive look.
They also have the ability to update the venue image, text, colors, and of course, the text automatically scales to stay within the bounds.
